CashClub is a referral influencer program where users can upload videos about MPL to YouTube and earn rewards through video views, referrals, and engagement milestones. The feature was designed to drive cost-effective user acquisition.

The Problems
The Problems
Cashclub works only if users consistently upload videos and those videos are discovered by others on YouTube. So we need users to upload as many videos as possible to their YouTube. However, the video upload rate was very low, as many users found it difficult to create videos.

One of the reason for low uploads is that there are specific rules users need to follow when submitting a video. If they miss any steps, they don’t receive rewards — which often leaves them confused about why they weren’t rewarded

As a user, you can create a video about MPL and upload it to YouTube. The video could be you promoting MPL or even a simple screen recording of a feature or gameplay — it just needs to be about MPL. After uploading, you go to the CashClub page in the app and link your YouTube video there. From that point, you’ll start earning rewards for views, referrals, and other engagement milestones

The only way to simplify the flow is either to give the rules more prominence or to handle the process ourselves.

That’s exactly what we did. We introduced a new section with pre-made videos provided by us. With just one click, users can upload a video to YouTube — complete with the correct description and their referral code already included.

We’re promoting the video-sharing feature to new users so they gradually build the habit. For first-time users, only one video is available to share. Once they upload it, they unlock the video carousel, which contains more videos. From there, users simply click Upload, and everything else is handled on our end.

Earlier, it was quite difficult for users to navigate to the videos section or the earnings section. To solve this, I added entry points right in the first fold. The reward structure was also hard to understand, and there were no clear indicators showing users how close they were to reaching a milestone.

This project began as a simple feature addition, but it eventually turned into a full revamp, as the entire structure of the page had to be redesigned.

The feature has gone live, and we’re already seeing great results. The video upload rate increased from 4% to an average of 9%.
